Preferences - Tag handling window:

Here you can what tags will be used in renaming and/or writing.
Writing is performed to all checked tags.
Renaming is performed like this: First program tries to find tag ID3v2 (if selected), if nothing is found, tries ID3v1 (if selected). Else the error is occured.
